Man exposes himself to two 13-year-olds
Two 13-year-old girls told police a man exposed himself to them while they were on their way to Central Middle School Tuesday morning in Edgewater.
The girls said they were near the intersection of Bay Ridge Road and Marlboro Road when they saw a nude man standing nearby, masturbating.
The girls told police they walked away, and when they looked back to make sure the man wasn't following them, they saw him get into a blue pickup truck.
The man is described as white, in his late 30s or early 40s. He is about 6 feet tall, weighs between 175 and 185 pounds, has brown hair and wore glasses.
Woman reports ring may have been stolen
An Annapolis woman told police that her $15,000 diamond ring may have been stolen May 1 by movers.
Nancy K. Stanford said in a police report that she was helping workers move into her new home in the 200 block of Anchorage Court and put the ring on the kitchen counter.
She said the ring was gone after the movers left.
The report says that as of Monday, the investigating officer could not locate the movers.
Shadyside man dies from crash injuries
A 21-year-old Shadyside man who was critically injured in a car accident last month has died from his injuries.
Jeffrey Ullrich Jr., of the 1100 block of Grove Ave., died Tuesday about 5:30 p.m. at the Prince George's County Hospital Center.
Police said Ullrich was driving north on Deale Churchton Road on April 27 when he was hit by another car whose driver failed to stop at a stop sign on Broadwater Road.
That driver, David Drennan, 17, of the 5700 block of Blaine Road, Churchton, was listed in good condition yesterday at Anne Arundel County General Hospital. Police said charges are pending a review by the State's Attorney's Office.
Man, 36, is charged with stealing $100
A 36-year-old Annapolis man was arrested Tuesday on charges of breaking and entering at a woman's house and stealing $100 from her pocketbook, city police said.
Mary Henley, of the 300 block of North Linden Ave., told police that a man who had done house and yard work for her two years earlier appeared in her home at 2 p.m. When she confronted him, the man told her he had come by to pick up some tools he had left behind, police said.
Several hours later, she discovered that her purse had been moved and her cash was missing, police said.
Police charged Arnold Brown, of the 600 block of Greenbriar Lane, in connection with the incident. He also was served an outstanding warrant for his arrest on a separate breaking-and-entering charge. He was released on his own recognizance by a District Court commissioner, police said.
