Greater Baltimore Medical Center's volunteer auxiliary will hold its semi-annual nearly new thrift shop sale, one of the largest on the East Coast, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday (May 9) and will feature clothing for the entire family, household items, furniture, TVs, books, toys, jewelry, china, crystal and antiques. The sale continues 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. May 11, 12, (closed the 13th) 14 and 15 and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 16. Thursday and Friday are half-price days and May 16 is bag day when everything you can get in a brown paper bag is $2. Parking is free.
