Former and current art students and alumni of Anne Arundel Community College are eligible to enter original all-media works of art for the May 20-June 17 Alumni and Friends Art Exhibition in the art gallery of the college Pascal Center for Performing Arts.
Cynthia Alderdice, a member of the Maryland Federation of Art in Annapolis, the Maryland Printmakers in Baltimore and the Washington Guild of Goldsmiths, will be exhibition juror.
A graduate of the University of Texas, she has exhibited in numerous one-person shows and exhibits throughout the area. Her work hangs in many private and corporate collections in the United States, Europe and Australia. It can be seen in Washington, at the International Monetary Fund Collection and Freddie Mac's Collection honoring Washington artists.
One or two original works not previously exhibited at the college may be submitted between 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, at the Alumni office in the Student Services Center. Each entry requires a completed registration form.
Total dimensions of three-dimensional work must not exceed 16 feet (height plus width plus depth). Weight must not exceed 50 pounds. Two-dimensional work must not exceed 144 inches (height plus width) including frame.
