Police seeking two men in slaying

THE BALTIMORE EVENING SUN

Police today were seeking two men in connection with the slaying of a Hollander Ridge man during an argument in the 1900 block of Maulsby Court, a short distance from the victim's home.

Homicide Detective Earl Etting said Wayne Felder, 26, of the 2300 block of Odell Ave., was arguing with two men shortly before 10 o'clock last night when one of the men pulled out a handgun and shot Mr. Felder several times in the chest. The two men fled.

Mr. Felder was taken by ambulance to Francis Scott Key Medical Center, where he underwent emergency surgery. He died at 12:28 a.m. today, Detective Etting said.

Detective Etting said that the nicknames of the assailants were learned during questioning of witnesses. He declined to reveal the nicknames.

An autopsy was to be conducted by the state medical examiner's office to determine which of the bullets that struck the victim caused his death, the detective said.
