Seaman Recruit Michele D. Davis recently returned aboard the submarine tender USS Simon Lake, to its home port in Holy Loch, Scotland, from the NATO multinational exercise "Teamwork 92."
She joined the Navy last year.
STINARD COMPLETES COURSE
Airman David P. Stinard Jr. has completed the airlift and environmental systems specialist course at Chanute Air Force Base, Rantoul, Ill.
While there, he learned the principles of operation and trouble-shooting of typical aircraft electro-environmental systems.

KANE EARNS NAVY MEDAL
Navy Lt. j.g. Karen B. Kane recently earned the Navy Achievement Medal for the standardized physical fitness program she developed. It included the training of student referees and the development of rule books.
Kane is stationed at the Fleet Surveillance Support Command, Chesapeake, Va. She is a 1989 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy who joined the Navy in 1985.
