James A.C. Gray

James A.C. Gray, a retired technical illustrator, died Friday at a hospital in Lehigh, Fla., of complications following heart bypass surgery over a month earlier. He was 70.

Services for Mr. Gray will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the Lemmon-Mitchell-Wiedefeld Funeral Home, 10 W. Padonia Road in Timonium.

Mr. Gray retired from Bendix in 1982 and married the former Jane Elizabeth Norris of Laurel, who survives him. The couple moved to Ocean Pines after his retirement, spending winters in Florida.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Gray is survived by a son, Bruce M. Gray of Cockeysville; a brother, Robert C. Gray of Brooklyn; and two grandchildren.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Heart Association, 415 N. Charles St., Baltimore 21201.
