Robert E. Moore Sr., a retired mechanical contractor, died Sunday of cancer at his home in Port Richey, Fla. He was 72.
A Mass of Christian burial for Mr. Moore was offered yesterday at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church in Hudson, Fla.
He moved to Florida 10 years ago after retiring as owner of Custom Mechanical Corp. Before starting his business, he worked for Poole & Kent Co.
Born in Baltimore, he was a graduate of St. Martin's School and attended the Polytechnic Institute.
His first wife, the former Marie Dimler, died in 1978.
He is survived by his wife, the former Gloria P. Farr; a son, Robert E. Moore Jr. of Spring Hill, Fla.; a daughter, Karen Moore of Port Richey; a stepson, Bernard Myers of Yardley, Pa.; a sister, Elaine Aliff of Baltimore; and four grandchildren.
