Workshops slated on African history

THE BALTIMORE EVENING SUN

Dr. Felix Igwemadu, a professor at Catonsville Community College, will conduct two workshops on African history tomorrow at St. Katherine's Church, 2001 Division St.

The "Demystification of African History" will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and "The African Origins of the European Renaissance" from 2 to 4:30 p.m.

Raymond V. Haysbert, chief executive officer of Parks Sausage Co., will be the luncheon speaker.

The Overcome, a community group, is sponsoring the event. A $30 fee is being charged for each workshop, or $50 for both. Lunch costs $7.
