MIAMI -- Glen Rice hit five three-pointers and scored 21 points, as the Miami Heat broke a four-game losing streak with a 100-89 win over the short-handed Washington Bullets last night.
Washington dressed only nine players. The Bullets were without their leading scorer, Pervis Ellison, who missed his fifth straight game with a pulled groin, and Ledell Eackles, who was fined and suspended after missing a team flight from Charlotte, N.C., and a Monday team practice.
