THE BALTIMORE SUN

Here's what to look for if you're traveling in the Baltimore metropolitan area this week. This list of highway projects includes only newly announced work, not continuing construction, which is extensive on several highways, including Interstate 95, U.S. 50/301 and the Baltimore-Washington Parkway.

New highway projects

Inner and Outer Loop I-695 from Reisterstown Road to Greenspring Avenue -- Through July 1, expect daily lane closings from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. for patching and paving.

U.S. 50 bridge over Sinepuxent Bay at Ocean City -- Through April 24, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday through Friday, one lane in each direction will be closed for mechanical repairs to the bridge. Temporary 10-minute roadway closures in both directions will be required occasionally. During the same period, the bridge will be closed to all marine traffic.

Bay Bridge -- Through April 15, one lane closed on westbound bridge. Two-way traffic on eastbound bridge as needed.
