ROBBERY: Northern District -- Police said a 37-year-old resident of the 2800 block of Guilford Ave. was assaulted and robbed Tuesday morning while walking in the 200 block of W. 28th St. Charles Mackey told police he was walking along the street around 2:30 a.m. when he was attacked by two men who beat him with their fists and kicked him. Police said Mr. Mackey was robbed of a small sum of money. He was taken to Union Memorial Hospital, where he was treated for minor head injuries and released. Mr. Mackey told police he was not wearing his glasses at the time of the attack and was unable to identify his attackers or provide descriptions.

THEFT: Northern District -- A resident of the 3500 block of W. Lexington St. told police that while his 1981 BMW was parked in the 500 block of E. 25th St. over the weekend, someone stole all four of the vehicle's wheels and tires. Police said the property was valued at more than $400.

THEFT: Northern District -- A 10-year-old resident of the 4400 block of Old York Road reported that while he was playing ball in the 900 block of E. 43rd St., someone stole his unattended bike. Police said the child's bike was valued at nearly $150.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Police reported that someone broke into a dwelling in the 2700 block of Woodland Ave. earlier in the week and stole property valued at more than $800. Police said the intruder escaped with a 20-inch TV, a compact disc player, two VCRs, a typewriter and several compact discs. Police said entry was gained by kicking in the front door.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A resident of the 5700 block of Ridgedale Road reported that someone broke into his home between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday and stole stereo equipment. Police said entry was gained by breaking a kitchen window and that the property was valued at nearly $1,800.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Police said someone broke into a dwelling in the 2900 block of Edgecombe Circle South Tuesday evening and stole several pieces of jewelry moments before the occupant arrived home. Police said entry was gained through a second-floor rear window and that rings, bracelets and necklaces were stolen. Police said the jewelry was valued at more than $1,000.

THEFT: Western District -- A resident of the 2400 block of W. Franklin St. reported that someone entered her home Tuesday and stole a 20-inch TV and a computer video game. Police said the property was valued at nearly $400 and that a relative of the victim is suspected of taking the property.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Lester Tyrell, a Diamond cabdriver, reported he was in the 2100 block of Pennsylvania Ave. shortly before 5 a.m. yesterday when he was hailed by a man. Mr. Tyrell reported that when he stopped, the man implied he was armed with a handgun and ordered the cabbie to give up his money. Police said the man escaped with about $100.

BURGLARY: Western District -- The owner of a house in the 1500 block of W. Baltimore St. told police that someone broke into the dwelling between Tuesday night and yesterday morning and stole a water heater, furnace and a cabinet. The owner told police the property was valued at nearly $4,400 and that entry was gained through a rear door.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Police said someone forcibly entered a house in the 600 block of N. Carrollton Ave. yesterday morning and stole a 19-inch TV. Police said the property was valued at $200.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A teen-age resident of the 1500 block of W. Fairmount Ave. told police he was riding his bike in the 1600 block of W. Fayette St. yesterday afternoon when he was accosted by a man armed with a handgun who forced him off the bike and stole it. Police said the victim's yellow 10-speed mountain bike was valued at $200.

RAPE: Western District -- Police today were seeking two men, one named "Eric" and the other "Donnell," in connection with the rape Tuesday evening of a woman inside a house in the 2500 block of Carver St. Following the rape, the woman was taken to a hospital for treatment and released.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Police reported that a resident of the 1900 block of Hollins St. was walking in the first block of S. Pulaski St. early yesterday when he was accosted by a man who verbally threatened him while demanding his money. Police said the victim gave $10 to the man, who escaped on foot.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Police said a man armed with a handgun stopped a resident of the 1000 block of Mt. Holly St. as he walked two blocks from his home Tuesday evening and demanded he give up his money and valuables. Police said the victim complied, giving the gunman cash and property, all valued at nearly $200.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Employees of Swartz & Sons, a distributing company in the 2900 block of Whittington Ave., reported that someone broke into the building through a garage door and stole an unknown quantity of fruit juices. Police said the break-in occurred Tuesday night or yesterday morning.

Baltimore County

BURGLARY: White Marsh District -- Employees of the Mermaid construction company in the 11100 block of Red Lion Road reported that someone broke into the building Tuesday night or yesterday morning and stole at least $3,000 worth of computer equipment. Police said entry was gained by breaking a window.

ROBBERY: White Marsh District -- Police today were continuing their search for a man who robbed Rosedale Pizza in the 8400 block of Philadelphia Road yesterday. Police said a man over 6-feet tall and wearing a long green coat entered the shop around 10:30 p.m. and asked for change. When the clerk opened the cash register, the man placed one hand in a coat pocket as though he was armed and ordered the employee to give him all the money. Police said the clerk complied, giving the man an undisclosed sum of cash. Police said the man escaped, running toward Kenwood Avenue.

Anne Arundel County

DRUG ARRESTS: Lothian -- While investigating an abandoned car in the 1100 block of Cottonwood Drive Monday night, police arrested two men and charged them each with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of narcotic paraphernalia. Shortly after police spotted a pipe on the front seat of the car, two men approached and told the officers they had been in the car. A search of the carresulted in the seizure of two ounces of marijuana, the pipe and at least one knife. Charged were Robert James Barrett, 19, of the 500 block of Herring Ave. in Dunkirk, and Keith William Trader, 18, of the 1200 block of Ellicott Ave. in Churchton. Bail information on the men was not available.

WEAPON ARREST: Annapolis -- Police arrested a 29-year-old woman Monday and charged her with possession of a sawed-off shotgun. Police said they received information from a neighbor of the suspect who reported the woman was headed to the 100 block of Obery Court to kill another woman. Police searched for the suspect and stopped her car at the intersection of West and Lafayette streets. Under a black leather jacket in the car, police found the weapon. Police said that in addition to charging Juanita Marie Johns, of the 1300 block of Tyler Ave., with possession of the shotgun, she also was charged with concealing a deadly weapon. It was not immediately known why the suspect was after the other woman.

BURGLARY: Glen Burnie -- A resident of the 100 block of Cedarcliff Court reported that someone broke into his home over the weekend and stole several hundred dollars in cash. Police said the intruder entered by forcing a door.

Carroll County

DRUG ARRESTS: Westminster -- Following a tip from a reliable informant that two men were selling drugs from their car, city police Monday arrested two men on narcotic charges and seized nearly 50 plastic vials of crack cocaine. After the men were spotted seated in a parked car on Sullivan Street around 7:30 p.m., the officers waited until someone approached the vehicle. When a man walked toward the car and began talking to the occupants, several officers closed in and arrested the two suspects. In the car, police found 45 vials of crack cocaine in a black vinyl bag, 35 empty glassine bags, measuring spoons, a knife to cut the crack and other drug paraphernalia. Also found were three hand-held police scanners, a pair of field glasses and a pager. Charged with multiple drug offenses and conspiracy and held in the county Detention Center in lieu of $75,000 bail each were Christopher G. Braxton, 20, of Baltimore, and Brett M. Friend, 19, of Woodlawn, Baltimore County. The street addresses of Mr. Braxton and Mr. Friend were not available.

THEFT: Westminster -- Police reported that someone entered the Radio Shack outlet in the Cranberry Mall on Route 140 and stole a police scanner. Police said the equipment was valued at $300.

THEFT: Westminster -- A resident of North Colonial Avenue reported that while his car was parked near his home over the weekend, someone broke into the vehicle and stole a radar detector. Police said the property was valued at $1,000.

DRUG ARRESTS: Aberdeen -- Following an undercover operation, members of the county's joint narcotics task force last night raided two homes and arrested five people on drug charges. The raids were in the 400 block of Elmhurst St. and the 300 block of James St. Seized from the two dwellings were two grams of powdered cocaine with an estimated street value of $200 and $50. Police said the dwelling on James Street was set up as a crack and prostitution house that served customers 24 hours a day. Charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and maintaining a common nuisance residence were the following Aberdeen residents: Albert Rose Barnes Jr., 34, of the 100 block of Hanover St.; Derek Lamont Lloyd, 29, and Douglas V. Johnson, 58, both of the James Street address; and Marie Denise Whittington, 29, of the first block of Liberty St. Also arrested was Harold Blumie 3rd, 18, of the 800 block of Truxton Court, Edgewood. Police said all were being held at the county Detention Center pending bail hearings before a District Court commissioner.

Howard County

ROBBERY: Columbia -- Police said a deliveryman for Pizza-Boli's was robbed of a small amount of money as he was about to deliver a food order to the occupants of a house in the 9300 block of Farewell Road. Police said the 23-year-old pizza shop employee was walking toward the house when he was approached from behind by a man armed with a handgun who forced him into a nearby wooded area. There, the gunman robbed the deliveryman of his money then ordered him to lay face-down on the ground. Police said the victim was not injured and that the people living in the house had not ordered any food.

BURGLARY: Columbia -- Employees of the High's store in the 5400 block of Lynx Lane reported that someone broke into the store over the weekend and stole a large quantity of cigarettes and some cash. Police said entry was gained by someone throwing a brick through the store's glass door.
