Woodbine man dies in crash

THE BALTIMORE EVENING SUN

A 25-year-old Woodbine man was killed early today when the car he was driving ran off the road and overturned about a mile from his home.

Maryland State Police in Westminster said an autopsy on the victim, Timothy C. Peach, of the 6000 block of Woodbine Road, was to be conducted today at the state medical examiner's office in Baltimore.

Sgt. Ron Mosco said Mr. Peach was driving his 1991 Dodge Daytona in the 2300 block of Gillis Road about 2 a.m. when the car hit a mail box and an embankment and then overturned. The victim, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the car, he said.

The accident occurred near Gillis Falls State Park.

Sergeant Mosco said police do not know why Mr. Peach's car ran off the road.

Investigators found no signs of alcohol consumption, he said.
