Community activists fighting the replacement of the Severn River Bridge with an 80-foot-high span have blanketed downtown Annapolis with fliers urging residents to rally on the crumbling drawbridge March 29.

Citizens for a Severn Scenic River Bridge have organized a protest for 2 p.m., starting at the now-defunct Spinnakers restaurant on the north end of the drawbridge.
