Services for Arnold Robert Calligan of Glen Burnie, a former

truck driver for B.M.I. Inc., took place Friday at the Singleton Funeral Home.

Mr. Calligan, 52, died Wednesday at North Arundel Hospital after a long illness.

He worked for B.M.I. for 12 years.

Mr. Calligan's interests included billiards and card games.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years; Dorothy C. Calligan; a son, Eugene Doss Jr.; two daughters, Theresa Ann Calligan and Brenda Lee Phillips; all of Glen Burnie; four brothers, Guy A. Calligan III and Billy Sprinkle, bothof Glen Burnie, David Calligan of Point Pleasant, and Charles Bernard Hoch of Dundalk; his parents; and five grandchildren.

BUSINESSMAN, 91

Services for retired businessman Herman Joseph Rosenbaum of Severna Park were scheduled to take place yesterday at the Burr Oak Cemetery in Athens, Mich.

Mr. Rosenbaum, 91, died March 10 of cancer at his home.

He was born in Athens and lived in Chevy Chase.

Mr. Rosenbaum was in the banking business for over 30 years. He was also one of the founders of the Ben Franklin 5 & 10 stores franchise business in Washington.

Mr. Rosenbaum was a member of the Takoma Park Seventh Day Adventist Church and enjoyed recording a weekly radio program for them.

Other interests included radios, electronics and photography.

Survivors include his wife, Emily S. Cooper; a brother, Wayne Rosenbaum of Battle Creek, Mich.; a granddaughter, Merrie Martin of Severna Park; and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Anne Arundel Medical CenterHospice, Franklin and Cathedral streets.
