Recipient's comments: "They approached me; they had some vacancies to fill. Their list then goes to the county commissioners for appointment, so we're really representatives of the commissioners. We act to help the flow of information between the county and the college. We take what we learnabout the college to the community so people can learn what a resource it is. The college has been an adjunct of Catonsville Community College for so long people aren't aware of what Carroll has to offer. As it grows, I think it will become more autonomous, so this is a goodtime to be on the board, during this transition period."
