ROBBERY/ARREST: Northwestern District -- A 24-year-old resident of the 2600 block of Oswego Ave. was charged with the holdup Wednesday of an armored car company employee as the guard was about to leave a fast-food restaurant in the 4200 block of W. Northern Parkway. Police said Anthony C. Haskins was arrested by FBI agents outside his home about an hour after the 11 a.m. robbery at a McDonald's restaurant. Being sought in the robbery is Mr. Haskins' brother, William G. Haskins, 27, also of the 2600 block of Oswego Ave. Police said an employee of the Federal Armored Express Co. had just picked up receipts from the manager of the restaurant and was walking toward the front door on her way to an armored truck when she was stopped by two men with 9mm semiautomatic handguns. The men robbed the guard of her .38-caliber revolver and escaped with an undisclosed amount of money. Police said Anthony Haskins has been charged with armed robbery and using a handgun in the commission of a felony. It was not immediately known if money taken in the robbery was recovered. Mr. Haskins was being held by the FBI pending a bail hearing before a U.S. District Court magistrate. The holdup was a federal case because the armored car company is insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.
BURGLARY: Northern District -- A resident of the 900 block of Woodbourne Ave. reported that someone broke into his apartment yesterday through a side door and stole a VCR and a leather coat, with a total value of more than $600.
THEFT: Northern District -- Someone broke into a vehicle yesterday by cutting through its convertible top while it was parked in the 1000 block of Woodson Road and stole several golf clubs. The owner of the property, a 26-year-old man, told police the property was valued at more than $1,000.
THEFT: Northern District -- An out-of-town resident reported that while her 1989 Isuzu was parked in the 200 block of Ridgewood Ave. Wednesday, someone broke into it and stole a coat and tools valued at more than $100.
BURGLARY: Northern District -- A resident of the 600 block of E. 37th St. told police someone entered her home by breaking out a pane of glass in the kitchen door and stole a 13-inch TV valued at more than $200.
BURGLARY: Northern District -- A 35mm camera was reported stolen from a dwelling in the 800 block of Radnor Ave. after someone entered the house with a key. Police said the burglary occurred between March 4 and March 10 and the camera was valued at $300.
BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 1200 block of Southview Road reported that someone broke into his garage by forcing a door and stole a briefcase that was in a car parked in the garage. Police said the briefcase was valued at $100.
THEFT: Northeastern District -- Someone stole two white wicker chairs, valued at more than $300, from the front porch of a home in the 3700 block of Ridgecroft Road Wednesday.
BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A 40-foot aluminum ladder was reported stolen from a garage in the 2700 block of E. Northern Parkway after someone entered through an unlocked door. Police said the ladder was valued at $100.
THEFT/ARRESTS: Northeastern District -- Police arrested two men and were holding them at the Eastern District in connection with the theft of four sweat suits from the T-Shirt Shop in the Parkville Shopping Center, 7600 block of Harford Road. Police said the clothing, valued at more than $270, was recovered.
ROBBERY/ARREST: Western District -- Pending charges, police were holding a man suspected of robbing a woman of $20 at knifepoint Wednesday while they were in a store in the 1700 block of W. Lanvale St.
ROBBERY: Western District - Police said a man with a handgun accosted a pedestrian in the 1700 block of W.Baltimore St. Wednesday morning and robbed him of more than $ 50.
ROBBERY: Western District -- A man told police he was in the 800 block of N. Mount St. Wednesday afternoon when he was attacked by a man who struck him with his fists and robbed him of more than $50 in food stamps.
THEFT: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 2100 block of Chelsea Terrace reported that someone entered her home Wednesday night and stole property valued at nearly $500. The victim told police she suspects the property was taken by two relatives.
ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A driver for Pizza Boli's in the 6400 block Baltimore National Pike reported he was making a delivery in the 5400 block of Jamestowne Court around 10 p.m. Wednesday when he was assaulted by a man who robbed him of the food he was carrying and money. Police said the food and cash had a combined value of $102.
THEFT: Western District -- An employee of Reliable Liquors in the 2200 block of Winchester St. reported that while his company-owned truck was parked in the 3400 block of Clifton Ave. around 10 a.m. yesterday, someone broke into it and stole liquor valued at nearly $400.
ROBBERY: Western District -- A man walking in the 200 block of Edgewood St. around 6 p.m. yesterday he was stopped by a man who placed a hard object against his back and demanded his money. Police said the victim handed over more than $200.
ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men, one with a knife, accosted a woman as she walked in the 400 block of S. Pulaski St. around 7 p.m. yesterday and robbed her of cash and property, all valued at more than $150. Police said that during the robbery, the man carrying the knife pressed the weapon to the victim's neck and threatened to cut her if she resisted.
ROBBERY TRY: Western District -- A man reported he was walking in the 900 block of Harlem Ave. early yesterday when he was stopped by two men who struck him with their fists and knocked him to the pavement. Police said one of the men pulled out a handgun and attempted to rob the victim, who grappled with the gunman. Police said the victim was able to run to his car and was driving away when the gunman fired at least one shot, hitting the car. The driver, police said, was not injured.
ASSAULT: Western District -- Police arrested a man and were holding him at the station pending charges that he pointed a handgun at a woman and threatened to shoot her during an argument in her house in the 1800 block of W. Fairmount Ave. Police said they recovered a .177-caliber pellet pistol and said the woman was not injured.
ROBBERY: Western District -- A man reported he was robbed yesterday evening in the 1600 block of W. North Ave.The victim told police he was walking along the street around 5 p.m. when he was stopped by a man in his late teens who threatened him with a handgun and took nearly $200.

ROBBERY: Wilkens District -- Two men with semiautomatic handguns robbed a Rolling Road jeweler of an undisclosed amount of cash and jewelry. Police said the men entered A&M; Jewelers in the 700 block of N. Rolling Road shortly after 7 p.m. yesterday and announced a holdup. After forcing a store employee to open a safe and give them money and jewelry, the men ran out the front door and escaped. Police responding to a holdup alarm searched the area but failed to locate the robbers.
ROBBERY: White Marsh District -- An employee of Furniture Discounters and Bedding in the 8600 block of Pulaski Highway reported he was robbed of an undisclosed sum as he walked to his car last night. The employee said he was approaching his car shortly after the 9 p.m. closing time when he was stopped by a man who pressed a hard object to the back of his head and ordered him to give up the bank bag he was carrying. After taking the bag, the man fled.
THEFT: Cockeysville District -- Someone broke into the car of a private detective while it was parked on the lot at the Hunt Valley Mall on Shawan Road Wednesday night and stole a brief case containing a .357 Magnum revolver and a radar detector, all valued at $600.
Anne Arundel County
THEFT/ARREST: Annapolis -- City police and federal agents have arrested John R. Somerville, 35, of the 700 block of Newtowne Drive, on a warrant charging him with stealing a custom-made .338-caliber Magnum Winchester rifle in a burglary last March. Police said the $4,000 target rifle was taken from a home during a burglary and that Mr. Somerville's arrest was in connection with an investigation of weapons trafficking in the area conducted by federal agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. Police said the rifle was found in Mr. Somerville's home Tuesday and confiscated as evidence.
SHOOTING/ARREST: Pioneer City -- A second adult charged in the shooting Sunday morning of Jeremiah Wanamaker, 19, of Washington, was arrested Tuesday at an apartment in the 600 block of Waterwheel Lane, Millersville, on a warrant charging him with assault with intent to murder. Following a hearing before a district court commissioner, Lamar Donita Wallace, of the 1800 block of Arwell Court in Severn, was ordered held at the county detention center without bail. Mr. Wallace and Ramon Edwards, 21, of the 1600 block of St. Margarets Road in Annapolis, are charged with shooting Mr. Wanamaker in the lower body while the victim was talking on a telephone outside a store Sunday morning in the 1800 block of Richfield Drive. Mr. Edwards, police said, was arrested several hours after the shooting. They said the shooting stemmed from an ongoing dispute between Mr. Wanamaker and Mr. Edwards. Police said a teen-ager, believed to have been involved in the shooting, is being sought. Mr. Wanamaker was in fair condition today at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.
ROBBERY: Crofton -- Police today were seeking a man who robbed a convenience store on Defense Highway early yesterday at gunpoint. They said a man entered the 7-Eleven in the 2100 block of Defense Highway around 2 a.m. and requested a pack of cigarettes. When the clerk placed the cigarettes on the counter and rang up the sale, the man pulled out a handgun and ordered the clerk to give him the contents of the cash register. After taking an undisclosed sum, the gunman ordered the employee to walk to the rear of the store. Police said that while the employee was walking toward a rear room, the gunman ran out the front door and escaped.
Harford County
DRUG ARREST: Perryman -- After raids at two dwellings, members of the county's joint narcotics task force last night arrested an 18-year-old and charged him with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and possession of a handgun. Police said James Cicero Morgan, of no fixed address, was arrested around 7:30 p.m. and was held overnight at the county detention center in lieu of $250,000 bail. Deputy First Class DeWayne Curry, of the sheriff's department, said task force officers with a search-and-seizure warrant entered an apartment in the 300 block of Mayberry Drive and another in the 200 block of Perrywood Court following a lengthy investigation into the possession and distribution of crack cocaine and marijuana in Perryman. Seized were an ounce of marijuana, worth about $200 on the street, and nearly 5 grams of crack cocaine, having a street value of $1,000. Also seized were $1,600 in cash and a .22-caliber handgun. Deputy Curry said Mr. Morgan was to appear today at a bail review hearing in district court.
