The House Ethics Committee voted last week to reveal the names of 19 current and five former House members who were considered the worst abusers of the House bank's check-cashing privileges. However, most callers to SUNDIAL sided with the full House, which voted early today to release the names of all 296 members who bounced a check.
Among 1,003 respondents, 934 (93 percent), said all names should be revealed, while 69 (7 percent) said only the worst offenders should be disclosed.
