THEFT: Northeastern District -- A resident of an apartment building in the 2300 block of E. Northern Parkway reported that someone entered the basement laundry room Tuesday and stole several pieces of clothing. Police said the clothing was valued at nearly $300 and that a female believed to have stolen the clothing is being sought.
THEFT: Northeastern District -- Police said someone broke into a 1986 Nissan while the vehicle was parked in the 1200 block of Glenwood Road yesterday evening and stole a purse and other property. The victim, also a resident of the 1200 block of Glenwood Road, told police the property was valued at nearly $140.
ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Police said a resident of the 4700 block of Elison Ave. was walking near his home yesterday afternoon when he was attacked by a youth who grabbed him around the neck and robbed him of his money. Police said the youth escaped with more than $100.
ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 3000 block of Ingleside Ave. reported he was in the 2500 block of Pennsylvania Ave. Wednesday night when he was attacked by two men who struck him with their fists and robbed him of cash and property, all valued at nearly $700.
ROBBERY: Western District -- Police said two men, one armed with a handgun, accosted a resident of the 700 block of N. Carey St. as he walked in the 500 block of N. Carrollton Ave. Wednesday night and forced him to give up his money. Police said the gunman and his accomplice escaped with nearly $200.
ROBBERY: Western District -- Police said a resident of the 1300 block of W. North Ave. was walking near his home Wednesday night when he was stopped by a man who struck him with his fists and robbed him of $15 and a pack of cigarettes.
ROBBERY: Western District -- Police today continued their search for two men who robbed a resident of the 1800 block of N. Fulton Ave. of $400 at gunpoint after she cashed a check. Police said the victim was walking back to her home after cashing a check at a store Tuesday night when she was robbed by the two men, one of whom was armed with a handgun.
ROBBERY TRY/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a man and were holding him at the station pending charges in connection with the attempted robbery of an elderly female resident of the 1700 block of McKean Ave. The victim told police that after she allowed a couple she thought she knew into her home Tuesday night, one of them pushed her into a chair and demanded her money. Police said when the woman cried out, the couple fled. Later, police arrested a suspect in the incident and were holding him at the station while the incident is investigated.
BURGLARY: Western District -- Employees of United Trucking Service in the 2000 block of Warwick Ave. reported that someone broke into the garage Tuesday night. Police said entry was gained by forcing a door open and that it was not immediately known what property was taken.
ROBBERY: Western District -- Police reported that a female resident of the 2500 block of W. Fairmount Ave. was walking in the 1900 block of Vine St. early yesterday when she was assaulted by a man who pushed her to the pavement and robbed her of cash and property, all valued at more than $300.
ROBBERY: Western District -- Police said a man walking in the 2000 block of N. Bruce St. early yesterday was robbed of his wallet and $20 by a man who asked him for a cigarette. Police said the victim, of the 2000 block of W. Fairmount Ave., gave up his wallet and its contents when the man pulled out a handgun and pointed it at him.
CUTTING: Western District -- A resident of the 2300 block of W. Lexington St., was treated at the University of Maryland Medical Center early yesterday and released after being cut with a knife during an argument with a woman. Police said Elvis Streams, also of the 2300 block of W. Lexington St., was cut on the wrist and palm by a woman he knows who fled the scene. Police said the woman was being sought.
ROBBERY: Western District -- Police said a woman was walking in the 1700 block of W. North Ave. early Wednesday when she was accosted by two men, one armed with a handgun, who robbed her of nearly $300. The woman, a resident of the 1600 block of N. Bruce St., told police one of the men rifled her clothing before he found the money. Police said the woman was threatened by the gunman.
BURGLARY: Western District -- Employees of Top Hat Towing in the 1900 block of Ashburton St. reported that someone broke into the building between Wednesday night and early yesterday and stole radiators and tools. Police said entry was gained by forcing the front door and that the value of the property was not immediately known.
BURGLARY: Western District -- Police reported that someone broke into a church-owned building in the 2300 block of Pennsylvania Ave. between March 2 and yesterday and stole several dolls and stuffed animals. Police said three youths seen near the building shortly before the break-in was discovered were being sought.
ARRESTS: Western District -- Police arrested two youths and charged them as juveniles with robbing another youth of his bike in the 1000 block of W. Lanvale St. Police said the victim was riding his bicycle near his home around 4 p.m. yesterday when he was attacked by a boy and a girl who knocked him off the bicycle and stole it. Later, the pair was arrested. Police said that following charges, the boy and girl were released into the custody of their parents.
ROBBERY: Northern District -- Police said a 37-year-old resident of the 4400 block of Wrenwood Ave. was walking in the 500 block of E. 43rd St. early yesterday when he was attacked for no apparent reason by three men who struck him with their fists. Police said the victim, Floyd Little, was taken by ambulance to Union Memorial Hospital, where he was treated for injuries and released. Police said no arrests were made.
BURGLARY: Northern District -- Employees of Eddie's food market in the 3100 block of St. Paul St. reported that someone broke into the store early yesterday and stole 25 cartons of various brands of cigarettes. Police said the cigarettes were valued at more than $300 and that entry was gained by breaking out a panel of a door.
BURGLARY: Northern District -- Police said someone broke into the construction trailers of two companies that were parked near a job site at Union Memorial Hospital and stole property and equipment valued at nearly $2,000. Police said someone forcibly entered a trailer owned by Dance Brothers and stole two telephones. Police said the property was valued at nearly $150. Employees of Electrico Inc. reported that two walkie-talkie radios were stolen from a company trailer after someone entered by forcing a door. Police said the radios were valued at nearly $1,700.
ROBBERY: Northern District -- A 9-year-old resident of the 800 block of E. 41st St. told police she was walking in the 800 block of Belgian Ave. yesterday evening when she was assaulted by a man in his mid-20s who stole $10 she was holding in her hand. Police said the girl was apparently going to a store when she was robbed.
THEFT/ARREST: Southwestern District -- Police responding to a shoplifting at the Super Fresh store in the 2400 block of Frederick Ave. arrested a 31-year-old man and charged him with theft of items valued at $24. Police said the man was stopped from leaving the store by a security officer. Police said the man, of the 600 block of Tolna St., was held overnight at the station pending theft charges and a bail hearing before a District Court commissioner.
BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the first block of N. Beechfield Ave. reported that someone broke into his home through a door yesterday morning and stole two VCRs and a compact disc player. Police said the property was valued at nearly $400.
THEFT: Southwestern District -- A driver for the Checker cab company reported that while his cab was parked in the 3400 block of Clifton Ave. yesterday, someone broke into the vehicle and stole the trip meter. Police said the meter was valued at $400.
ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 1200 block of Druid Hill Ave. reported he was in the 3400 block of Clifton Ave. yesterday when he was accosted by a man armed with an unknown caliber handgun who ordered him to give up his money. Police said the gunman escaped with more than $100.

BURGLARY: North Point District -- A resident of the 8000 block of Grayhaven Road reported that someone broke into his home early yesterday and stole nearly $4,000 worth of property. Police said the burglar gained entrance by forcing a door and stole a gold necklace, bracelets, a diamond ring, gold watch, an emerald stone without its setting, a radio and other personal items.

DRUG ARREST: Arnold -- Police armed with a search-and-seizure warrant entered a home in the 500 block of Woodberry Drive Wednesday night and arrested a 21-year-old man on narcotics charges. Police said officers assigned to the Special Operations Section and Tactical Narcotics Team entered the home shortly before 10 p.m. and arrested Keith David Watson, a student. Police said Mr. Watson had been under investigation as a distributor of marijuana and that a search of his bedroom resulted in the seizure of about 10 grams of marijuana, more than $1,000 and items used in the distribution of marijuana. Bail information on Mr. Watson was not available.
ROBBERY: Glen Burnie -- A teen-age resident of the 6000 block of Heritage Hill Drive reported he and a friend were walking through the grounds of the Burwood senior citizens housing complex at Shelly Road near Ordnance Road around 8 p.m. yesterday when they were stopped by two other teen-agers, one carrying a bottle. The victim told police the youth carrying the bottle demanded his Pittsburgh Penguin ice hockey team jacket while threatening to spray a chemical irritant in his face. Fearing he and his friend would be injured, the victim gave up his jacket. Police said the other youths then escaped on foot.
BURGLARY: Annapolis -- A resident of the 300 block of Carriage Parkway reported that someone broke into his home and stole more than $800 worth of tools.
BURGLARY: Glen Burnie -- Police said stereo recording and receiving equipment was stolen from a dwelling in the 1000 block of Oakwood Road after someone gained entry by forcing a door. Police said the property was valued at $500.
DRUG ARREST: Ferndale -- Police acting on information from a reliable informant yesterday arrested a maintenance man for the county school system and charged him with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. Police said Frank Bingel, 26, of the 100 block of Maple Ave. in Ferndale, was arrested shortly after noon yesterday when near his home in the Old Stage Coach Apartments. Following his arrest, police searched Mr. Bingel and found more than four ounces of marijuana on him. Later, police searched his apartment and found nearly three pounds of marijuana and $215. Police said the marijuana found in Mr. Bingel's apartment had a street value of nearly $9,000. Police also seized the man's car as evidence that it was used to transport the marijuana. Police said Mr. Bingel was taken to the Northern District before appearing at a bail hearing before a District Court commissioner. Bail information on Mr. Bingel was not immediately available. It was not known at what county school he works.
