Divorced women as nuns?

Among 240 SUNDIAL callers who identified themselves as Roman Catholics, 173, or 72 percent, said divorced women should be allowed to become nuns; 67 callers (27 percent) disagreed.

Among 158 callers who said they are non-Catholic, 107 (67 percent) were in favor of allowing divorced women to become nuns, while 51 (32 percent) were against that idea.

"It's Your Call" represents a sampling of opinions from certain segments of the community, but it is not balanced demographically, as a scientific public opinion poll would be.
