Dorothy Snyder

Dorothy Snyder, a retired Baltimore public school teacher, died Sunday of heart failure at Union Memorial Hospital. She was 91 and lived in the Roland View Towers East Apartments.

Services for Miss Snyder were being held today at the Seitz Funeral Home, 3818 Roland Ave.

She retired more than 25 years ago as a seventh-grade teacher at School 49, an accelerated-program school on Cathedral Street, concluding a 40-year career of teaching in city junior high schools.

Survivors include a niece, Florence Snyder Bohon of Tennessee, and several grandnephews and grandnieces.
