CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. -- The Charles Town Races will present its traditional 13-race Presidents Day card this afternoon featuring free admission and programs and free Jockey Star Cards for the first 750 fans in attendance.

Post time is 1 p.m.

The Jockey Star Cards feature the nation's top riders, including local jockeys Phil Grove, Lori Youngs, Larry Reynolds and William R. Lewis Jr.

Between races, Charles Town's jockeys will be on hand to meet fans and autograph photos.

Highlighting the program will be simulcasts of the $100,000-added Stymie Handicap, a mile and an eighth test for 3-year-olds and up from Aqueduct, and the $200,000 General George Stakes, a seven-furlong sprint for three-year-olds and upward from Laurel Race Course.

The Stymie will be run as Charles Town's eighth race while the General George will be offered as the 10th race.

Charles Town has racing scheduled on Monday afternoons for the rest of the 1992 season, with free programs each Monday through March 9.
