Tyson verdict

THE BALTIMORE EVENING SUN

Most callers to SUNDIAL, or 332 of 536 (nearly 62 percent), say justice was served in the Mike Tyson rape trial, and 204 (38 percent) disagree. The same percentages apply to another response, with 330 of 537 saying Tyson's reputation influenced the jury, and 207 disagreeing.

On news media coverage, 198 of 538 callers (36 percent) said it played a role in the trial outcome, while 340 (63 percent) said it didn't.

"It's Your Call" represents a sampling of opinions from certain segments of the community, but it is not balanced demographically, as a scientific public opinion poll would be.
