If you're closer to the southern part of the county, Winfield Volunteer Fire Department is having a Valentine's Rock 'n' Roll Dance with Big Cam and the Lifters from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday at the fire hall, 1300 W. Old Liberty Road.

As if that's not enough, Junior Achievement of Carroll County is having a Valentine's Day Dance featuring New Censation at 9 p.m. at Martin's Westminster, 140 Village Shopping Center.

Morgan Chapel UnitedMethodist Church, Woodbine Road at Hoods Mill Road, offers up an all-you-can-eat breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m.

American Legion Gold Star Post has a roast pork and fried chicken feed and dance starting at 6 p.m. at 801 Prospect Road, Mount Airy.

If you're in the mood for a show and dinner, try the North Carroll Ensemble performance at the group's eighth annual dinner theater, featuring singers, dancers and a band presenting family entertainment at North Carroll High School, 3801 Hampstead-Mexico Road, Hampstead.

Reservations are required forthe 6:30 p.m. dinner, but tickets for the show at 8 p.m. are available at the door. Information: 239-7315.


And if your feet are still moving, the Carroll County Association of Realtors is sponsoringa '50s and '60s dance with the Hubcaps, 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Westminster Moose Lodge, 309 Buena Vista Drive.

The dance benefits the Cardio Care Unit of Carroll County General Hospital. Tickets are $20 per person and include dinner, beer and soda; patrons must be 21 years or older, and reservations are required. Information: 876-3530.
