Kenneth A. Tarr has been promoted to vice president-comptroller for First Advantage Mortgage Corp. of Columbia.

Tarr first joined First Advantage in November 1988 as an assistant vice president-comptroller.

Richard S. Loeffler has been promoted to vice president of product development for First Advantage. He will be responsible for productdevelopment in the secondary marketing department.

Loeffler firstjoined First Advantage in July 1989 as an assistant vice president of product development.

BEAULAH NAMED DIRECTOR

Donald S. Beaulah has been named director for planning and proposals for the Bendix Field Engineering Corp. of Columbia.

Beaulah has more than 20 years of management experience at BFEC. Since 1989, he has been the senior manager of strategic planning and staff assistant to the president at BFEC.

A native of Britain,Beaulah was educated in England and had various technical assignments in the Royal Air Force from 1954 to 1956.

THOMAS JOINS THULMAN

Thulman Eastern Corp. has announced that Keith Thomas has joined the sales staff.

He will be responsible for Anne Arundel, the Eastern Shore, Calvert, Charles and St. Mary's counties as well as Washington.

Sales manager Robert Simpson has been named to the board of directors for the Maryland State Builders Association for the 1992 board year.

He is one of 10 directors appointed from the organization's suburban Maryland chapter.
