Delma Block Brotman

Delma Block Brotman, who had worked with her first husband in their northwest Baltimore drugstore, died at the North Oaks Retirement Community yesterday of heart failure. She was 82.

Graveside services for Mrs. Brotman were being held today at the Arlington Cemetery of Chizuk Amuno Congregation, 4300 N. Rogers Ave.

A member of Hadassah, she was active in its book review group.

The former Delma Herman was a native of Baltimore and a member of the Class of 1927 at Western High School.

Her first husband, pharmacist Sol G. Block, died in 1956. She worked with him at Block's Pharmacy on Reisterstown Road near Virginia Avenue for more than 20 years.

Morton Brotman, her second husband, to whom she was married for 32 years, is retired from his own antique and electronic repair businesses.

In addition to her husband, her survivors include two daughters, Phyllis Block Brotman and Lois Block Rosenfield, both of Pikesville; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
