Leonard T. Pool, a chemical engineer who had worked in several parts of the country in addition to his native Baltimore, died Thursday of cancer at a hospital in Petersburg, N.H. He had lived for 13 years in Francestown, N.H.
Graveside services for Mr. Pool, 71, will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Druid Ridge Cemetery, Park Heights Avenue and Old Court Road.
The graduate of City College attended Michigan State University before his graduation from Johns Hopkins University.
He is survived by his wife, the former Romaine Young; two sons, LeRoy Pool of Pylesville and Timothy Pool of Francestown; three daughters, Pamela Taylor of Shalimar, Fla., Gail Gondolfi of Newbury, Mass., and Anna Chupa of Wilmington, Del.; and eight grandchildren.
