PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. -- Mark Wiebe shot an 8-under-par 64 -- including five birdies in a row -- in the first round of the AT&T; Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.
That gave him a share of the lead, at least on the scoreboard if not in actuality, with former PGA champion Jeff Sluman.
Sluman, like Wiebe, played his opening round at Pebble Beach, one of three Monterey Peninsula courses used for the first three days of thisevent.
"With three different courses being played, nobody knows who's leading until after the third round," Sluman said.
