Services for William G. Harrison, a longtime employee of J. T. Harris Moving Co., will be at 11 a.m. todayat Wayland Baptist Church, 3200 Garrison Ave.

Mr. Harrison, who had lived for 30 years in the Upton community, died of heart failure Tuesday at his Pennsylvania Avenue home. He was 77. He was born in Essex County, Va., and moved to Baltimore during his youth. In 1933, he married the former Ella Kay, and during World War II he served in the U.S. Army.

After the war, Mr. Harrison worked for the Towson-based Arundel Corp. before taking a job as a mover with J. T. Harris, where he worked for many years.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Chester Harrison of Baltimore; two daughters, Peaches Camphor of Randallstown and Gloria Glenn of Baltimore; three sisters, Mary Moore of Palo Alto, Calif., and Marie Taliaferro and Fannie Starkes, both of Baltimore; two brothers, Paul and Alexander Harrison, both of Baltimore; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
