Save Our Streams is looking for volunteers to participate in a Stream Clean-Up along Saw Mill creek on Saturday, Feb. 8, from 9 a.m. to noon, according to Jackie Carrera, project director. To register to volunteer or for more information, call 969-0084.

The United Negro College Fund's fund-raiser telethon "The Lou Rawls Parade of Stars," which was held over WBAL-TV on Jan. 11, raised $225,473.79. The money will be used to support black higher education.

Mental Health Association of Metropolitan Baltimore is offering the public a free revised edition of its publication "Federal Income Tax Planning Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities and Their Families" for preparing income tax returns.
