This is a weekly summary of selected prime contracts recently awarded by the federal government to companies and other vendors in Maryland.

Westinghouse Electric Corp. in Linthicum won a $6,312,968 contract from the Navy to provide equipment, including low band receivers.

Standard Technology Inc. in Rockville won a $1,635,511 contract from the Navy to provide technical assessments and analyses.

Allied-Signal Aerospace Co. in Baltimore won a $1,517,712 contract from the Navy to provide communications equipment.

Andrulis Research Corp. in Bethesda won a $994,919 contract from the Navy to provide administrative and technical services.

Booz-Allen & Hamilton in Bethesda won a $900,000 contract from the Navy to provide engineering, technical and analytical support.

Allied-Signal Aerospace Co. in Baltimore won a $692,228 contract from the Navy to provide receivers-transmitters.

Hewlett-Packard Co. in Rockville won a $398,106 contract from the Navy to provide parts.

Standard Technology Inc. in Rockville won a $297,489 contract from the Navy to provide independent technical assessments and analyses.

Rohde & Schwarz Inc. in Lanham won a $266,944 contract from the Navy to provide digital volmeters.

Xeta International Corp. in Fort Washington won a $149,369 contract from the Navy to provide system engineering assessments.

NON-DEFENSE CONTRACTS

IBM Corp. in Bethesda won a $612,992 contract from the Internal Revenue Service to lease IBM proprietary software.

Professional Products Inc. in Bethesda won a $189,816 contract from the Goddard Space Flight Center to provide digital disk recorder systems.
