Services for Julius P. Sefret, president of Guardian Mechanical Contractors Inc., were held Sunday at the Sol Levinson & Bros. funeral home.

Mr. Sefret, 67, died of cancer Saturday at Johns Hopkins Hospi- tal.

From 1946 to 1972, he was employed in various technical industries, including work with the Standard Plating Co. in Baltimore.

In 1972, he helped found Guardian Mechanical Services Inc., a heating, air-conditioning and plumbing company and a commercial service and maintenance contractor.

A Baltimore native, Mr. Sefret graduated from City College and attended the University of Baltimore School of Law.

He served in the Army during World War II.

Mr. Sefret was a board member of the Beth Israel Congregation, the Beth Israel Men's Club and various boards and committees of the Associated Jewish Charities.

In 1968, he was named Man of the Year by the Woodmoor Hebrew Congregation Men's Club.

Mr. Sefret, was an avid golfer and a member of Bonnie View Country Club.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, the former Marilyn Hack; a daughter, Susan Wenger of Cherry Hill, N. J.; a sister, Miriam Caplan of Baltimore; two brothers, Jerome and Nathan Sefret, both of Baltimore; and two grandchildren.
