NICOSIA, Cyprus (AP) -- About 500 Greek Cypriot refugees demonstrated outside the U.S. Embassy yesterday, denouncing a U.S. official's remark that they should not all expect to return to their homes in Turkish-occupied north Cyprus.

A delegation delivered a statement at the embassy that said the refugees' right to return was not negotiable.
