By a margin of 55 percent to 44 percent, callers to SUNDIAL say Vice President Dan Quayle should be on the Republican ticket this year. The figures were 432 for and 345 against, out of 777 respondents.

Nearly 60 percent, or 448 out of 750 callers, say Quayle would be a better vice president than Barbara Bush, while 302 callers (39 percent) say she would be better.

"It's Your Call" represents a sampling of opinions from certain segments of the community, but it is not balanced demographically, as a scientific public opinion poll would be.
