Stephen M. Fabian Army employee

Services for Stephen Michael Fabian, a retired civilian employee of the Army and former resident of Westminster, will be held at 9 a.m. today at the Ives-Pearson Funeral Home in Arlington, Va.

Mr. Fabian, who was 70 and moved a year ago to Sun City Center,Fla., died Sunday of liver disease at his home there.

He retired in 1974 as a civilian employee of the Army Signal Corps at Fort Ritchie. He had moved to Westminster in 1965 while working for the Army.

A native of Collier, Pa., he enlisted in the Army in 1939 and was commissioned as an officer in the Signal Corps in 1956 -- three years before he retired as a first lieutenant.

He is survived by his wife, Marianne Fabian; three sons, Robert Fabian of Fredericksburg, Va., James Fabian of Tampa, Fla., and Steven Fabian of Plant City, Fla.; a brother, Frank Fabian of Uniontown, Pa.; three sisters, Anna Marella of McClellandtown, Pa., and Frances Krajewski and Mary Medlock, both of

Cleveland; and seven grandchildren.
