By a very thin margin, just over half of the callers to SUNDIAL say they do not make New Year's resolutions and have not been able to keep them when they did. In responses from 181 callers, non-resolution makers edged resolution makers 92-89, or percentages of 50.8 vs. 49.1.

Out of 170 callers, 86 (50.5 percent) said they have not been able to keep their resolutions, and 84 callers (49.4 percent) said they have been able.
