There's an unexpected guest among the favorites to reach the Super Bowl, according to respondents to "It's Your Call." Sure, callers put Washington and Buffalo in their accustomed 1-2 places as the favorites to meet in Minnesota Jan. 26.

But No. 3 was Dallas. Yes, the same Cowboys who were 1-15 just two seasons ago but who have grown into a force the Redskins are in no hurry to mess with again after a loss and a narrow victory this season.

The least favorite team still in the running? The Houston Oilers, who only 10 of 411 callers thought would make it to the Super Bowl.

Here's the rundown: Washington (31 percent, 127 callers), Buffalo (29 percent), Dallas (23.5 percent), Atlanta and Detroit (4 percent each), Kansas City (3.5), Denver (2.6) and Houston (2.4).

"It's Your Call" represents a sampling of opinions from certain segments of the community, but it is not balanced demographically, as would be done in a scientific public opinion poll.
