County Executive Robert R. Neall has announced the election of Shelly Gross-Wade as secretary of the board of directors of the Maryland Business Development Corp.

Gross-Wade is a business development representative with the Anne Arundel County Office of Economic Development.

A 17-year county employee, Gross-Wade has been with the Office ofEconomic Development for seven years.

Her responsibilities include managing the Small Business Succe$$ Program, the Small Business Incentive Fund loan program, and supervising the Anne Arundel County satellite office of the Central Maryland Small Business Development Center in Glen Burnie.
