This month, during the 200th anniversary of the ratification of the Bill of Rights, Denver Post columnist Woody Paige proposed some new amendments on behalf of sports fans. Such as:
* Athletes have the inalienable right to get as much money as they can -- if they hit at least .300, win 20 games, average 20 points a game or catch 75 passes a year. Others must be given the same salary as a pipefitter.
* The right of the people shall not be denied in establishing a legitimate national collegiate football champion.
* The citizens have a right to be protected from pay per view. And Notre Dame football every Saturday.
