RILEY ATTENDS CONFERENCE

Colleen Riley, executive director of the Howard County Tourism Council, attended the National Tour Association's 1991 Annual Convention from Oct. 27 to Nov. 1 in Cleveland, Ohio.

Riley met with more than500 group tour operators, who bring escorted tour business to Maryland.

SIX DESIGNATED AS CRPS

Six associates in the office of RE/MAX Columbia have earned CRP designations as a result of passing the Certified Relocation Professional exam in September.

They include Norma Jean Marsho, Donna Campagna, Betsy

Callas, Joan Brunett, Valerie Smith and Frona Dubin.

KEIGHLEY HONORED

Keighley Jewelers of Dobbin Square was honored as the Sponsor of the Year by the Maryland Wheelchair Athletic Promotionsat its annual banquet Nov. 8.

Terry Keighley, president of Keighley Jewelers, was honored by MWAP founder Larry Hughes.

ARMIGER BUILDER OF YEAR

Earl Armiger, president of Orchard Development Corporation and past president of the Home Builders Association of Maryland, was named 1991 Builder of the Year by HBAM on Dec. 5 at the Hyatt Regency in Baltimore.

Armiger was cited for demonstrating outstanding leadership in the association and excellence in the industry.

Approximately 350 industry business people attended the event, which featured the installation of the association's 1992 officers as well as the chapter and council leadership.
