Bethlehem Steel Corp. of Sparrows Point won a $3,620,000 contract from the Navy to provide ship repair to the USS Sustain.
Michael's Construction Co. in Baltimore won a $738,035 contract from the Navy to provide housing repairs at the naval ordnance station and tenant activities in Indian Head.
C&A; General Construction Inc. of Gaithersburg won a $168,252 contract from the Navy to provide miscellaneous architectural and structural work.
Barton Duer and Koch Paper Co. in Cheverly won a $62,322 contract from Defense Construction Supply Center to provide a gear assembly with a speed decreaser.
Falcon Microsystems Inc. of Landover won a $57,585 contract from the Air Force to supply Macintosh computer systems and related software.
Non-defense contracts
Merical Electrical Contractors Inc. in Upper Marlboro won a $586,400 contract from the Goddard Space Flight Center to provide a construction contract to upgrade fire detection systems in various buildings.
Digital Equipment Corp. in Lanham won a $361,931 contract from the Goddard Space Flight Center to provide general purpose automatic data processing software, supplies and support equipment.
McDonald and Eudy Printers of Temple Hills won a $292,574 contract from the U.S. Government Printing Office to provide book printing services and a $130,319 contract from the U.S. Government Printing Office for book printing services.
Amtech Reliable Elevator Co. in Baltimore won a $285,512 contract from Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center to renovate elevators.
Earth Observation Satellite Co. in Lanham won a $280,000 contract from the Department of Agriculture to provide digital satellite data.
The Maxima Corp. of Lanham won a $238,376 contract from the Department of Energy to provide assistance in ensuring protection for nuclear weapons, devices, materials and other classified information under DOE control.
International Business Supplies in Savage won a $140,160 contract from the U.S. Postal Service to provide office supplies.
Metro Feeds of Rockville won a $122,619 contract from the National Institutes of Health to supply animal bedding.
Ryon Inc. of Forestville won a $121,200 contract from the Navy for oil spill containment at various industrial facilities.
OTC/Biotechnology Research Institute of Kensington won a $101,990 contract from the Veterans Administration to provide pharmaceuticals.
Sign Language Associates in Silver Spring won a $65,000 contract from the Department of Education to provide for interpreter services for those who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Computer Sciences Corp. of Calverton won a $48,296 contract from the State Department to provide software development support for computer systems.
Biomedical Research Institute of Rockville won a $36,837 contract from the National Institutes of Health to provide storage, inventory and shipment.
