Brian Brooks hit a jumper with less than a minute remaining in the game last night to lift the New Community College of Baltimore to a 70-68 victory over Allegany Community College.
Ronald Rudisill led the Red Devils with 23 points and 17 rebounds. Brooks finished with 19 and Derrick Purnell added 13.
Allegany, ranked No. 5 in the National Junior College Athletic Association poll, was paced by Dennis Leonard's game-high 25 points.
