ROBBERY: Western District -- Sharon Casey, of the 1400 block of Mountmor Court, reported she was in the 1100 block of N. Gilmor St. Monday evening when she was attacked by a man who struck her several times with his fists and robbed her of the purse she was carrying. Police said the purse contained $17 in cash and more than $200 worth of food stamps.
ROBBERY: Western District -- Anna Cunningham, of the 900 block of N. Stricker St., reported she was robbed of more than $300 worth of food stamps by two men, one armed with a handgun, who accosted her Monday afternoon as she walked in the 1500 block of W. Lafayette Ave.
ROBBERY: Western District -- Police said a woman walking in the 1300 block of W. North Ave. Monday night was assaulted and knocked down by a man who stole her purse and escaped. The victim, Nicole Hobbs, of the 1400 block of Mosher St., told police the purse contained cash and property, all valued at about $60.
SHOOTING: Western District -- Joey Garcia, of the 1900 block of W. Baltimore St., reported he was walking toward a bus stop in the 2000 block of W. Baltimore St. around 10 p.m. Monday when someone in a passing car fired a shot at him. Police said the car sped away and that Garcia was taken to Bon Secours Hospital, where he was treated for a minor gunshot wound and released. Police had no motive for the shooting.
CUTTING: Western District -- Chester Knight, of the 500 block of N. Pulaski St., told police he was in the 900 block of W. Fayette St. around 10 p.m. Monday when he was attacked from the rear by a man armed with a knife who stabbed him in the left shoulder and left arm for no apparent reason. Police said Knight's assailant escaped and that the victim was taken to Bon Secours Hospital, where he was treated and released.
ROBBERY: Western District -- Quandra Scott, of the 5000 block of Corley Road near Leakin Park, reported she was in the 1800 block of N. Mount St. late Monday night when she was stopped by a man known to her as "Willie" who robbed her of $20 while implying he was armed with a handgun.
CUTTING: Western District -- Police today were seeking a 23-year-old man in connection with the cutting yesterday afternoon of LaTanya King, of the 1700 block of Mosher St., during an incident near her home. Police said King was attacked by a man armed with a razor who cut her on the right hand, causing an inch-long laceration. Following the assault, police said King was taken to Bon Secours Hospital for treatment and was released.
ROBBERY: Western District -- Willie Williams, of the 900 block of Poplar Grove St., reported he was in the 1200 block of W. 'D Fayette St. yesterday morning when he was stopped by two men, one armed with a handgun, who ordered him to give up his money. Police said the men robbed Williams of more than $80 and escaped on foot.
ROBBERY: Western District -- Andre Wilson, of the 2000 block of Boyd St., reported he was robbed of more than $80 and a set of keys after he was attacked by several men around 9 p.m. yesterday as he walked in the 1000 block of N. Calhoun St. Wilson told police he recognized one of his attackers as a man known to him as "Scar."
ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Thomas Preston, of the 2300 block of Derby Road, reported he was walking in the 4100 block of Reisterstown Road around 7 a.m. yesterday when he was attacked by four youths, one armed with a handgun, who struck him several times with their fists and robbed him of cash and property, all valued at nearly $300.
THEFT: Northwestern District -- Shirette Shell, of the 5300 block of Cordelia Ave., told police that someone entered her car yesterday afternoon while it was parked near her home and stole several pieces of clothing. Shell told police the clothing was valued at more than $800 and that she suspects a man she knows, who had taken her keys earlier, of entering the car and stealing her property.
BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 6200 block of Hopeton Ave. reported that someone broke into his home through a rear kitchen window yesterday evening and stole property valued at more than $1,000.
ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Police today were seeking two men who robbed Murry's steaks in the 3400 block of Park Heights Ave. while holding several employees and customers at bay with a handgun. Police said the men entered the store around 11 p.m. Monday and announced a holdup. While one of the men was given an undisclosed sum of money from the safe by an employee, his accomplice covered at least six other people with the gun. After taking the money, the pair ran out the front door.
ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Corey Wiggins, of the 1000 block of Gerard Ave., told police he was in the 2500 block of Garrison Boulevard around 8 p.m. Monday when he was accosted by a man armed with an unknown caliber handgun who demanded his money. Police said Wiggins complied, giving the gunman more than $100.
BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3300 block of Taney Road reported that someone broke into his home Monday by forcing a rear basement door. The occupant told police that the intruder ransacked several rooms and that it was not immediately known what property was missing.
ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Deborah Carr, of the 800 block of Appleton St., told police she was walking across the Mondawmin Mall parking lot Monday night when she was assaulted by a man who knocked her to the pavement and robbed her of nearly $25. Later, police arrested a 27-year-old man in connection with the robbery. Police said Adrian Pleasant, of the 1500 block of N. Carey St., was charged with robbery and was being held in the station's lockup in lieu of $10,000 bail pending a bail review hearing before a District Court judge.
BURGLARY: Northern District -- Police reported that someone broke into a dwelling in the 900 block of E. 41st St. Monday or yesterday and stole a VCR valued at more than $200. Police said entry was gained through a side window.
THEFT: Northern District -- Rick Holtz, of the 6600 block of Falls Road, reported that while his 1986 Honda was parked in the 300 block of W. 29th St. Monday night someone broke into the vehicle and stole a radio. Police said the radio was valued at more than $100 and that the thief entered the car by breaking a window.
BURGLARY: Northern District -- Employees of Danny's auto repair in the 2700 block of Greenmount Ave. told police that someone broke into their shop and stole several hand and power tools. Police said the tools were valued at more than $2,000.
BURGLARY: Northern District -- Police said property valued at more than $800 was stolen from Four Star Repair in the 3000 block of Greenmount Ave. after someone apparently used a key to enter.
BURGLARY: Northern District -- Police said four handguns were among property stolen yesterday after someone broke into a dwelling in the 6100 block of The Alameda. Police said the thief also stole two TVs, two VCRs and two telephones. Total value of the property, police said, was more than $4,000. Police said the burglar entered by breaking a pane of glass out of the front door.
BURGLARY: Northern District -- Property valued at more than $2,000 was reported stolen from a dwelling in the 3300 block of Greenmount Ave. after someone broke in through a door. Police said two men were seen leaving the house carrying a VCR, compact disc player and other pieces of property.
THEFT: Northern District -- Gennie Valdez, of the 6100 block of Parkway Drive, reported that while her car was parked near her home someone broke into the vehicle Monday night or yesterday morning and stole several cassette tapes, tools and $10 in cash. Police said the property had a total value of more than $100.
ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Tyrone Parker, of the 2500 block of Edmondson Ave., reported to police that while he was in the 2300 block of Frederick Ave. yesterday afternoon he was stopped by a man armed with an unknown weapon who demanded his money. Police said Parker gave up cash and property, all valued at more than $200 to the man, who escaped on foot.
ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- John Johnson, of the 400 block of S. Bentalou St., told police he was walking in the 2000 block of Christian St. around 8 p.m. yesterday when he was stopped by two men, one armed with a sawed-off shotgun, who robbed him of property valued at $40.
BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 500 block of Stamford Road in the Ten Hills section reported that someone broke into his home yesterday evening and stole property valued at nearly $900. Police said entry was gained through a kitchen window.

ROBBERIES/ARREST: Essex District -- Police early today arrested a 22-year-old Parkville man and charged him with two counts of armed robbery and two counts of using a handgun in the commission of a felony. Officer Paul Shaffer of the Essex District reported he was working a drunken-driving detail at the intersection of Eastern and Woodward avenues shortly after 2:30 a.m. when he spotted a white Toyota Tercel with dealer tags that was wanted in connection with two armed robberies, one of the Fullerton Shell service station and the other a Dunkin Donuts shop, both located in the 7900 block of Belair Road between 12:20 a.m. and 1:54 a.m. Shaffer said he followed the car for about four blocks before pulling it over at Stewart and Dorsey avenues. Backed-up by Officer Frank Massoni, also of the Essex District, Shaffer arrested the driver without incident. Shaffer said a search of the car revealed a chrome-plated pellet pistol and money believed taken in the robberies. Charged and awaiting a bail hearing today in District Court was Donald Gary Inches, of the 7900 block of Marfield Place in the Village of Putty Hill Apartments.
ROBBERY: Cockeysville District -- Police reported a man armed with a handgun robbed the Cockeysville Deli in the 10700 block of York Road last night. Police said after the man entered the deli shortly after 7 p.m. and ordered a sandwich, he pulled out a handgun and told the clerk standing behind a counter to give him the contents of the cash register. Police said the clerk complied, giving the gunman an undisclosed sum of cash. Police said the man escaped on foot.
Anne Arundel County
DRUG ARRESTS: Annapolis -- County police said two teen-age boys arrested over the weekend and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute are to appear at a later date in juvenile court. Police said officers responding to a report Saturday that the youths were selling cocaine at a motel in the 2500 block of Riva Road spotted them as they talked on an outside telephone near the motel. When police requested the boys empty their pockets, they removed more than $1,000 in cash. While searching the teens, police recovered a small bag of crack cocaine from one of them and 23 grams of crack cocaine from the other. Following their arrests, the boys, ages 16 and 17, were served with juvenile citations and released into the custody of their parents.
BURGLARY: Glen Burnie -- A resident of the 7800 block of Americana Circle told police that someone broke into his home over the weekend and stole several pieces of jewelry. Police said the jewelry was valued at nearly $100.
