Coast Guard Seaman Apprentice John J. Robbins recently graduated from Coast Guard Recruit Training Center, Cape May, N.J.

Robbins, a 1982 Centennial High School graduate, joined the Coast Guard in August1991.

MAROUSEK ARRIVES FOR DUTY

Navy Seaman Apprentice Brian M. Marousek, son of Mr. and Mrs. E.F. Marousek of Sykesville, recently reported for duty aboard the amphibious command ship USS Blue Ridge.

Marousek, a 1989 Liberty High School graduate, joined the Navy in January 1991.

HANSON FINISHES TRAINING

Coast Guard Cmdr. Walter E. Hanson, a 1970 Howard High Schoolgraduate, recently returned from a two-month deployment on the CoastGuard Cutter Mellon for a refresher training period.

BRADLEY PROMOTED

Marine Lance Cpl. Curtis S. Bradley, son of Harry Fenton Bradleyof Laurel, was recently promoted to his present rank while serving with Marine Corps Security Force Company, Keflavik, Iceland.

He joined the Marine Corps in January 1991.

PRIVATES IN S.C.

Army Pvt. Thomas M. Corbett and Reserve Private Joseph J. Kubala completed basictraining at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

Corbett, son of Judith A. Corbett of West Friendship, is a 1991 Liberty High School graduate.

Kubala, son of Joseph and Phyllis Kubala of Mount Airy, is a 1991South Carroll High School graduate.

CONNOLLY IN GA.

Pvt. 1st Class Anthony D. Connolly has completed training at the U.S. Army Infantry School, Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.

Connolly, son of John and Elizabeth Connolly of Clarksville, is a 1988 Atholton High School.

WELLHONER IN FLORIDA

Air Force Airman Stephen P. Wellhoner, an apprentice avionics test station and component specialist, has arrived for duty at Homestead Air Force Base, Fla.

Wellhoner, son of Patricia J. Burnett of Mount Airy, is a 1990 graduate of 1990 Linganore High School in Frederick.
