Eliot P. Hurd Jr.


Eliot P. Hurd Jr., who had worked for a national chain of bowling alleys and was active in sports, died Saturday at Union Memorial Hospital after surgery.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at St. Thomas' Episcopal Church, St. Thomas Lane and Garrison Forest Road.

He is survived by his wife, the former Rosalie Schilling; a daughter, Lisa Marie Hurd of Randallstown; his mother, Marian Handy Hurd of Baltimore; his father, Eliot P. Hurd Sr. of Baltimore; his stepmother, Janet H. Hurd of Baltimore; and two sisters, Ellen H. Schuman of Charlottesville, Va., and Susan H. Bondi of Annapolis.

The family suggested memorial contributions to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or to the Pasquaney Trust, which operates a camp he attended.
