A Mass of Christian burial for Roland Carroll Jenkins of Glen Burnieis scheduled for 9 a.m. today at Church of the Good Shepherd.
Mr.Jenkins, 67, died Nov. 20 after being struck by a tractor-trailer onRitchie Highway.
The Baltimore native served in the Navy during World War II and worked as a tractor-trailer driver and crane operator for 40 years.
He was a member of the Destroyer Escort Sailor Association, AmericanLegion Post No. 40, and Burwood Tenant Council and Bethlehem Steel Ship Repair Reunion Club, and volunteerred for the American Red Cross of Glen Burnie and the county Police Department.
Mr. Jenkins is survived by his wife of 40 years, Frances Jenkins; four sons, Robert C.Jenkins of Essex, John C. Jenkins of Riverview, Anthony C. Jenkins of Madison, Conn., and James C. Jenkins of Brooklyn Park; two sisters,Mary C. Searcy of Brooklyn Park and Helen C. Siejack of Dundalk; a sister, Doris M. Jenkins of Glen Burnie; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
