William F. Norris, 88, died Wednesday at Franklin Square Hospital here. Twice widowed, he was the husband of Inez E. Norris and Dorothy Warner Norris. Before his retirement, he had worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad and Sparrows Point Railroad as an engineer. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara A. Parker of Havre de Grace; stepdaughter, Dorothy Spicer of Reisterstown; stepson, John W. Atkinson of Westminster; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.

Vernon A. Redding, 84, died Tuesday at Carroll County General Hospital. He was the husband of the late Margaret Cullings Redding. He was a carpenter and a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.Survivors include a son, Vernon L. Redding of Westminster; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. ArthurB. Price Jr., 79, died Monday at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. He was the husband of Martha Wray Price. He had owned Gwynn Oak Amusement Park and also was a state roads commissioner. In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, Martha E. Wertz of here, and two grandchildren. The family requests memorials to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.

Anna Marie Hare, 90, died Wednesday at the York Lutheran Home in Pennsylvania. She was the wife of the late William M. Hare. A charter member of the Triple Valley Homemakers Club, she formerly was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Survivors include daughters, Elvia Utz of Lineboro and Betty Jane Wright of Virginia; son, Dr. William Hare of Florida; sister, Lora Myers of Hanover, Pa.; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Richard Zabela Jr., 25, died Wednesday of a cerebral hemorrhage at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore. He was the son of Richard and Sandra Tobias Zabela. A 1984 graduate of Liberty High School, he recently graduated from Catonsville Community College. A member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, he was active in the Youth Adult Group. He also was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Hewas a salesman for Schumacher and Seiler in Ellicott City. In addition to his parents, survivors include sisters, Theresa Cowart of Atlanta, Geri Eddins and Michelle Zabela, both of Illinois; and his paternal grandmother, Wanda Sullivan of Pittsburgh.
Eugene E. Gosnell, 53, died Nov. 16 at his home. In the bar and catering business most ofhis life, he formerly owned Hilltop Spirit Shop. He was a member of the Moose Lodge here and the Mount Airy American Legion. Survivors include a son, Jeffrey E. Gosnell of Woodbine; and stepdaughter, Kathy L. Condon of Baltimore.

Donald C. Milligan, 79, died Monday at Carroll County General Hospital. He was the husband of HelenK. Milligan. A farmer, he also was a retired Realtor and land developer. In addition to his wife, survivors include a brother, Robert Milligan, and a sister, Blanche Sonimus, both of Florida.
M. Jane Byers, 66, died Tuesday at her home. She was the wife of Charles W. "Dick" Byers. Before her retirement, she had worked as manager of the state Employment Security Office in Carroll County. She was a member of St. Mary's United Church of Christ and the Elks. In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, C. Dennis of Dallastown, Pa.; daughter, Carla Smith of here; brothers, C. Mildred S. Gehr, 76, died Tuesday at Carroll County General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Denton K. Gehr. She had worked at Western Maryland College and atLeggett's and had volunteered at the hospital. Survivors include sons, Denton S. Gehr of Nevada and James E. Gehr of Manchester; daughter, Rebecca S. David G. Hughes, 57, died Wednesday at Carroll County General Hospital. He was the son of George W. Hughes of here and the late Nora Honeycutt Hughes. He was the husband of Norma Mitchell Hughes. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was a machinist at Littlestown Hardware and Foundry in Pennsylvania. He was a member of Kirkridge Presbyterian Church andthe Deep Run Rifle and Revolver Club. In addition to his wife and father, survivors include sons, Timothy A. Hughes and Daniel K. Hughes,both of here; brothers Grady A. Hughes of Kansas and Wilbert D. Hughes of here. Andrew L. Ogle, 49, died Wednesday at his home. He was the husband of Charlotte A. Ogle. A charter member of Winfield Volunteer Fire Department, he also was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. In addition to his wife, survivors include sons, Andrew L. Ogle Jr.and Joseph C. Ogle, both of here; brother, Ernest L. Ogle of Taneytown; and aunts, Hilda Porter and Florrine Cook, both of here. Marguerite Shunk, 97, died Tuesday at Wilson Health Care Center in Gaithersburg. A member of Westminster United Methodist Church, she received a certificate of 50 years of service in the Sunday School. Surviving is a niece, Betty S. Rhoten of Reisterstown.
