Gangemi, Busby score 20 each to lead Hopkins into final, 79-63

Jay Gangemi and Luke Busby scored 20 points each to lead Johns Hopkins over Albright, 79-63, in the first round of the Blue Jay Classic last night at Newton White Center.

Frank Grzywacz added 10 rebounds and eight points for the Blue Jays (1-0), who led by eight at halftime.

Albright (0-1) was led by Sean Minniear, who had game highs of 21 points and 13 rebounds. Mahlon Hayes added 19 points for the Lions.

In the tournament final tonight at 8, Hopkins will face Hamilton, which defeated Grove City, 112-76. Grove City and Albright will play in the consolation game at 6 p.m.
