ROBBERY/SHOOTING: Eastern District -- A 28-year-old woman who was shot in the head during a robbery at her home Wednesday night was in stable condition today at the Shock-Trauma Unit in Baltimore. Police said Bonnie Kearns, of the 600 block of N. Milton Ave., answered a knock at her front door shortly before 11 p.m. Wednesday and two men, wearing dark clothing and carrying handguns, forced their way in. Police said the intruders searched the house for cash and valuables and one of them shot Kearns in the head. It was not immediately known what, if any, property they stole.
SHOOTING: Kevin Mickey, 19, of the 1100 block of Brentwood Ave., reported he was near his home shortly before 11 p.m. Wednesday when a man shot him in the face with a handgun. Police said Mickey was taken by ambulance to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was listed today in stable condition. Police said no arrest had been made in the case and a motive for the shooting was not known.
ROBBERY: Eastern District -- Ernest Butler, of the 1700 block of Llewelyn Ave., said he was walking in the 1400 block of E. Oliver St. Wednesday night when he was stopped by a man with a handgun, who robbed him of more than $100 and ran away.
SHOOTING: Eastern District -- Clarence Holmes, of the 1700 block of E. 28th St., reported that another man shot him in the upper back in the 1200 block of Darley Ave. around 7 a.m. yesterday. Police said Holmes was taken by ambulance to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was treated and was listed today in fair condition.
ROBBERY: Eastern District -- Police said a 9-year-old boy was walking in the 1300 block of E. North Ave. on his way to a store shortly before 9 p.m. Wednesday when a man in his 30s robbed him of $18. Police said the child, a resident of the 1600 block of Holbrook St., was not injured.
ROBBERY: Eastern District -- Kenneth Watkins, of the 2200 block of Vailthorn Road in eastern Baltimore County, told police he was in the 2000 block of E. Eager St. early yesterday when two men robbed him of his watch and a gold chain, all valued at $600. Police said no weapon was displayed during the 3 a.m. robbery.
BURGLARY: Eastern District -- A resident of the 2100 block of N. Wolfe St., reported that someone broke into her home by forcing the front door and stole a watch, three gold rings and cash, with a combined value of more than $1,900.
ROBBERY: Western District -- Wanda Brown, of the 1300 block of Riggs Ave., reported she was in the 1200 block of Winchester St. late Wednesday night when a man with a handgun robbed her of $20 and escaped by running down the steps to the Metro subway station.
BURGLARY: Western District -- A resident of the 1800 block of W. Saratoga St. reported that someone broke into his home between the weekend and Wednesday and stole a watch, saw, drill and other property. Police said entry was gained through the basement door and the property was valued at more than $500.
BURGLARY: Western District -- Police reported that property valued at more than $1,500 was stolen from a dwelling in the 1000 block of Vine St. The owner of the property reported that someone entered the vacant house between Nov. 5 and Wednesday and stole a mirror, cabinets, bathroom and light fixtures and other property.
ROBBERY: Western District -- Antoinella Anderson, of the 900 block of N. Fulton Ave., reported she was entering the front door of her apartment house early yesterday when she was stopped by a man with a handgun. Anderson told police the man demanded her purse while pointing the gun at her 3-year-old son. Anderson said she gave up her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $30. The man escaped on foot. Police said neither Anderson or her son was injured.
BURGLARY: Western District -- A resident of the 2500 block of Mosher St. reported that someone broke into her second-floor apartment and stole a color TV and a VCR of undetermined value.
BURGLARY: Western District -- Police said hand and power tools valued at nearly $1,700 were stolen from a dwelling in the 700 block of N. Fulton Ave. after someone got in through a side door.
BURGLARY: Western District -- Police reported that copper piping and bathroom fixtures, valued at several hundred dollars, were removed from a house in the 600 block of N. Gilmor St. after someone entered through a window.
BURGLARY: Western District -- A resident of the 800 block of W. Fayette St. told police that someone broke into her home through a back door and stole a 13-inch TV valued at more than $100.
ROBBERY: Western District -- Jomaine Walker, of the 2100 block of W. Mulberry St., reported he was in the 300 block of N. Pulaski St. about 5 p.m. yesterday when he was accosted by four men, one with a handgun, who robbed him of $13 and two gold rings and a watch of undetermined value.
ROBBERY: Western District -- Shamerin Coleman, of the 1600 block of McKean Ave., told police she was robbed of her $20 jacket by a man with a handgun who stopped her as she walked in the 1700 block of N. Fulton Ave. yesterday afternoon.
BURGLARY/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a woman and were holding her at the Women's Detention Center at the Central District pending charges that she broke into a home in the 2300 block of McCulloh St. Wednesday or yesterday and stole a 19-inch TV.
RAPE/ARRESTS: Southwestern District -- Police arrested two men yesterday and charged them with raping a woman inside a house in the 3500 block of Old Frederick Road. Police said Joseph Reed, 19, a resident of the 3500 block of Old Frederick Road, and Michael Williams, 32, of York, Pa., were arrested shortly after the victim reported the incident. Police said Reed and Williams were held overnight at the station's lockup without bail pending a bail review hearing today before a District Court judge. Police said the victim was treated at the University of Maryland Medical Center and released.
BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 300 block of Martingale Road reported that someone broke into his home yesterday through a back door and stole property valued at nearly $1,100.
ASSAULT: Southwestern District -- Darnell Edwards, of the 3100 block of Baker St., reported he was walking in the 1600 block of Rosedale St. near his home yesterday when the occupant of a passing car fired a shot at him. Police said Edwards was not injured and the car sped off.

THEFT: White Marsh District -- Police reported that someone broke into a trailer parked on a lot at Golden Ring Mall in the 6400 block of Rossville Blvd. yesterday and stole $13,000 worth zTC of clothing. Police said the clothing was to be delivered to the Gap store at the mall and the trailer was owned by Ryder Distributing Resources in Alexandria, Va.

BODY IDENTIFIED: Millersville -- Police said the body found Tuesday alongside a road in Pasadena was that of a Baltimore man who had been shot to death. They said an autopsy identified him as Michael Chisholm, 36, of the 3500 block of Woodland Ave. in Pimlico. Police said Chisholm died from a gunshot wound in the head and his body was dumped alongside Alpine Road late Monday night or early Tuesday. The body was found by a woman walking her dog. Police said Chisholm was last seen alive around 6 p.m. Monday when he left home in his pickup truck to meet a friend. They said no arrests have been made in the case and Chisholm's truck has not been found.
DRUG ARRESTS: Cedar Hurst -- Police assigned to the Southern District narcotics squad and the Special Operations Section raided a house in the 1200 block of Holly Ave. Tuesday and arrested four people on charges of possession of marijuana. After entering the home, police seized a small amount of marijuana and nearly $150. Charged were Michael Sterling Thompson, 28; Shelly Marie Davis, 22; and John Morris Lackey, 28, all residents of the raided house. Also arrested was Michael Thomas Mays, 29, of the 1400 block of E. West Road in Shady Side.
ROBBERY: Glen Burnie -- Police said a mother and her daughter were robbed Wednesday night while walking across the parking lot near the Montgomery Ward store in Glen Burnie Mall. Police said Catherine Anne Regan, 57, and her daughter, Mary Catherine Regan, 36, both of the 3900 block of Inner Circle in Brooklyn Park, were putting packages in the back of their car about 8:50 p.m. Wednesday when a man with a silver-colored handgun approached and said, "Excuse me, I have a gun." Police said he robbed the mother of $13 in cash and then reached into the daughter's purse and removed $35. He escaped on foot.
ROBBERY: Jessup -- A 19-year-old female attendant at the Parkway Shell service station in the 2700 block of Annapolis Road told police a man entered the office shortly after 10 p.m. yesterday and ordered her to put money from the cash register into a McDonald's bag that he carried. The attendant, Tabetha Noone, of Jessup, told police the man, who carried a black handgun, took an undisclosed sum before he ordered her to lie on the floor and count to 50. The victim complied and the gunman escaped.
BURGLARY: Brooklyn Park -- Police reported that someone broke into a dwelling in the 400 block of Hillcrest Ave. and stole property of unknown value. Police said entry was gained through a door.
BURGLARY: Edgewater -- A resident of the 1700 block of Elkridge Drive reported that someone broke into his home through a side door and stole $50.
BURGLARY: Laurel -- Tools valued at $200 were stolen from a home in the 3400 block of Fort Meade Road by someone who broke into the dwelling through a window, police said.
