2nd of 2 shooting victims dies of injuries to his head

THE BALTIMORE EVENING SUN

The second of two men shot Wednesday afternoon as they got out of a car in the 1600 block of N. Calhoun St. has died at the Shock-Trauma Unit in Baltimore.

City police said Robert Eugene Williams, 43, of the 1500 block of Retreat St., died yesterday afternoon after being shot in the head.

Police said Williams had been kept alive on support systems so that some of his organs could be donated.

His companion, Oliver Randall Coleman, 32, of the 3200 block of Presstman St., died of multiple gunshot wounds shortly after arriving at Shock-Trauma.

Police said Williams and Coleman were getting out of a 1991 Chevrolet Geo around noon Wednesday when they were gunned down by two men.

Police said no arrests have been made in the slayings, which they said appeared to be drug-related.
