Only 19.5 percent of callers to SUNDIAL, or 75 callers out of 383, say they are very confident about the stock market. Pronouncing themselves "somewhat" confident are 163 callers, or 42.5 percent, while 145 callers, or 37.8 percent, say they are not at all confident.

As to the economy, 41 of 384 callers, or 10.6 percent, say they are very confident about it, while 118 (30.7 percent) say they are somewhat confident, and 225 (58.5 percent) say they are not at all confident.

"It's Your Call" represents a sampling of opinions from certain segments of the community, but it is not balanced demographically, as would be done in a scientific public opinion poll.
